Transit-Oriented Development

This report evaluates the efficacy of common community engagement tools that planners use to build support for transit-oriented development (TOD). It presents the results of focus-group research suggesting that building trust, humanizing the message, and respecting local context are the most important success factors, regardless of the specific engagement tools.
