Scenic View Protection

This report identifies view corridors to protect view corridors that lead to the Capital dome. It builds on a previous report from 1983, Capitol View Preservation Study, which established requirements to preserve scenic views to the capitol dome. Additionally, it provides details on established view corridor, including the type of view, the location of the viewpoint, the view frame, adjacent views, and recommendations for change, if applicable. Examples of recommendations include expansion of a view corridor and identifying spaces that may benefit from clearing signs and other obstructions.
