Wildland-Urban Interface

This statute establishes master plans for fire prevention and control as the responsibility of the States and the political subdivisions thereof. It aims to encourage and assist such States and political subdivisions in such planning activities. The purpose of this statute is to reduce losses of life and property, through better fire prevention and control.
