This statute establishes requirements pertaining to brush management such as reduction of brush, dense overgrowth and other vegetation and adjacent to a structure to mitigate wildfire risk and increase the ability of firefighters to protect the structure.
It also discusses regulations about soil-stabilization and prevention of soil erosion. It permits the planting of grass, trees, ornamental shrubbery or other plants in order to stabilize the soil and prevent erosion but not become a means of transmitting fire from native growth to any structure.
