Scenic View Protection

This report provides information on the King County Heritage Corridors Program, an initiative to protect scenic roads in King County, WA. This report provides a methodology for the project, a road history, an inventory of scenic corridors, and corridor management considerations. The project methodology outlines the steps taken to inventory roads, including planning and preparing for data collection, conducting context research and windshield surveys, completing an intensive survey and evaluation, and finally, reporting and designating scenic roads as community landmarks. Additionally, the inventory section describes road history, corridor signature, contributing features and a mile-by-mile corridor description.
