Scenic View Protection

This report inventories, rates, and maps scenic corridors in Maui, HI. It precedes the Maui Island Plan update and includes evaluation and rating criteria and explains the methodology used to complete the scenic resource inventory. Appendix C consists of a Scenic Resource and Management Strategy guide developed by the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources in 1981, while Appendix D consists of a technical publication by Scenic America, “Evaluating Scenic Resources”.
