Scenic View Protection

This article presents information to support scenic view protection as a legitimate public endeavor. It analyses different mechanisms related to scenic view protection, including the use of eminent domain, local ordinances, and easements. It concludes by highlighting how legal protection over scenic resources has changed over time, in part due to clearer scenic value definitions.
