Wildland-Urban Interface

This plan’s purpose is prevention and mitigation of wildfires, to save lives and property, and essentially to come together as a community to reduce the negative impacts of wildfires and restore forest health. With the successful implementation of this CWPP, County residents will be able to increase and improve wildfire mitigation and preparedness efforts in advance of wildfires. This will also enable the residents to evaluate the risks and costs associated with wildfire in the county, and be better prepared.
