This case study of Summit County, Colorado, focuses on work to analyze and recommend changes to plans and development regulations in order to better integrate wildfire risk reduction goals with land use policies and regulations. The report analyzes the Community Wildfire Protection Plan, the Land Use and Development Code, the Countywide Comprehensive Plan, Basin and Sub-basin Master Plans; and the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.
