This case study of Flagstaff community discusses innovative land use strategies for managing wildfire risks, such as the creation of a Greater Flagstaff Forest Partnership to educate the community on forest health and wildfire impacts, implementation of wildfire risk reduction measures, and establishment of defensible space standards.
