Scenic View Protection

The county’s compact communities ordinance requires a viewshed buffer to protect roadway views. The requirement specifies that buffers should be continuous, 100 feet in width, and protected by a deed restriction (§9.3). Additionally, it includes a provision on vegetation requirements and acceptable land uses within the viewshed buffer.
