Scenic View Protection

The county’s unified development code protects viewsheds by regulating activities that may impact topography and natural features. It includes general considerations, construction techniques, on-site circulation, and existing vegetation and landscaping compatibility (§9). The ordinance applies to all character areas, or land use types, in the county.
