Downtown Revitalization

This downtown plan evaluates current conditions and makes the case for leveraging state and local funds to revitalize neighborhoods surrounding the downtown commercial core. It focuses on four key efforts: renovation of vacant or blighted housing stock, offering incentives for improving key corridors, completion of revitalization efforts on the key commercial corridor (Market Street), and reintegrating the residential areas surrounding Market Street by investing in infrastructure improvements and development.
