Neighborhood Planning

This article examines how Seattle used planning outreach liaisons from underrepresented communities to foster diverse participation in a neighborhood planning process. It includes a short overview of the city’s historical neighborhood planning process, a critique of the original planning process for the neighborhood, and a discussion of the efficacy of the city’s new approach.
