Form-Based Zoning

This blog post discusses a major way form-based codes can fail which is when a municipality misapplies the Transect that helps guide form-based development. It includes an example of Transect Zones being mapped to the neighborhood level rather than the regional level. Transect Zones are used to illustrate change in the character of different zones while not implying it covers a region.
