Creative Placemaking

This guide provides a step by step process for activating communities through civic and artistic engagement. The process contains five steps:

• Build partnerships to support community outreach and to inform the activation process.
• Gather partners to discuss community goals and connect with artists.
• Connect artists to the community to encourage both groups to learn from one another.
• Engage the community as the project is developing.

Celebrate community and artist work towards completing a project.
