Tiny Houses and Micro-Apartments

The city's zoning code defines and regulates chassis-mounted tiny homes and tiny home communities.

It defines "tiny homes" includes construction and living space standards (§19.910.210). It defines "tiny home community" as a group of tiny homes arranged around a common area (§19.910.210).

It permits tiny homes and tiny home communities as accessory uses to non-entertainment assembly uses (e.g., churches) with a discretionary use permit (§19.150.020.B). It permits tiny home communities on foundations as planned residential developments (§19.780).
