Wind Energy

This report compares wind energy regulations and policies in seven states. A table summarizes the pertinent wind energy regulatory mechanisms in North Carolina, Maine, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Virginia (p.1). Drawing on the analysis, it suggests that unclear or subjective statutory language may hinder wind energy development (p.21).
