Short-Term Residential Rentals

The city’s municipal code addresses short-term residential rentals in its public safety, peace, and welfare title (Chapter 9.38). It offers a definition, establishes a permit requirement, and offers application procedures and operational requirements. Operational requirements address nuisance, compliant mitigation, occupancy and vehicle limits, trash, interior and exterior display of permit.

The code establishes conditions for violation and fines for violations; the permit will be revoked with four violations within any 24-month period.
