Short-Term Residential Rentals

This web page, administered by the city’s business licensing center, establishes an online portal for the city’s management of short-term residential rental licensing. The web page lists licensing requirements and walks users through a three-step licensing process: obtaining a Lodger’s Tax ID, obtaining a business license, and posting a business file number (BFN) online. It offers a link to the city’s online short-term rental application portal, and includes links to other related resources, including a FAQ page, short term rental licensing rules,  a site for complaints and mediation processes, and a fine payment page for citations. 

Denver has also established a  Short-Term Rental Advisory Committee, and this page provides a link to the STRAC web page, which hosts past meeting agendas, minutes, and updates.
