age-friendly communities

This report shares the progress made by the WHO Global Network for Age-friendly Cities and Communities over the last decade toward creating more age-friendly communities. It includes a history of the growth of the movement and lists several age-friendly resources developed by the WHO. The authors identify the network’s current challenges and gaps and develop a comprehensive vision for the future.
