Report a broken linkage-friendly communities
This report emphasizes the need for collaboration among local government departments for creating age-friendly communities, especially in rural communities. Using data from the Planning across Generations survey, it concludes that libraries and parks and recreation departments tend to have the most experience building multigenerational programs, while transportation departments tend to have the least. Schools are highlighted as sites that may be particularly useful to implementing interdepartmental projects.
