Age-Friendly Communities

This article describes the need for more accessible and affordable housing in order to allow older adults to age in place. Home modification and community adaptation are highlighted as effective, though often expensive, strategies to support older adults. The article concludes with a call for more applied research to better understand the most effective strategies for creating age-friendly communities.
