Report a broken linkage-friendly communities
This article explores Rhode Island’s efforts to become more age-friendly. The authors used a literature review, focus groups, interviews, surveys, and observation of projects and programs to identify six key questions that guide the central observations. The Appendix (p. 12) includes a set of recommendations organized in the following categories:
- Communication and Information
- Transportation
- Economic Security
- Community and Social Engagement
- Food Security and Nutrition
- Housing
- Support to Stay at Home
- Healthcare Access
- Open/Public Spaces and Public Buildings.
