This article centers the unique experience of indigenous older adults in the discussion of age-friendly cities in Canada. Through interviews, focus groups, and photovoice, the authors asked First Nations and Inuit older adults what community-level factors made them feel supported to age well, to which respondents reflected on both the social and physical environment. It urges planners to consider the legacy of colonialism when planning age-friendly communities.
