Report a broken linkage-friendly communities
This case study of Sullivan County, New York examines the challenges and opportunities related to senior and youth services in a rural context. Households with youth faced more barriers than seniors, particularly related to cost, but both populations faced scheduling barriers to accessing health services. The study calls for more attention to be given to scheduling and cost, rather than transportation, when considering barriers to access.
