age-friendly communities

This guide describes how to create more age-friendly cities through the framework of active aging. It was created through a series of international focus groups with older adults. Part 2 defines the active aging framework (p. 5) and parts 5-12 describe the eight domains of age-friendly cities, including a checklist for each one. This resource is commonly referenced in the age-friendly communities literature.
