age-friendly communities

This guide is designed to mobilize public and private stakeholders and individuals in creating an age-friendly community. It draws on the experience of six communities that participated in the Livable Communities for All Ages Learning Collaborative (LC) through the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a): Larimer County, Colorado, Miami Gardens, Florida, Monroe County, New York, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sedgwick County, Kansas, and York, Pennsylvania. It also discusses ten strategies for advancing livability (p. 29) and includes a glossary of key terms (p. 56) and resources (p. 57).
