This guide proposes a framework and set of indicators that can help local leaders create an evaluation process to assess a city’s age-friendliness. Indicators are categorized as equity indicators, input indicators, output indicators, outcome indicators, and impact indicators. Annex 2 (p. 77) shares case studies of how the core indicators have been adapted to the local context in Nairobi, Kenya, Bilbao, Spain, Banyule, Australia, Shanghai, China, and Washington, DC.
