Benefits of Compact, Mixed Use Development

This article measures the accessibility of housing in walkable urban neighborhoods by tracking the presence of tenants using HUD-assisted vouchers and project housing and by considering compromising factors. It challenges the common urban-suburban debate among fair housing and sustainable communities advocates by instead advocating for non-compromised accessible housing no matter the context.
