Benefits of Compact, Mixed Use Development

This article investigates housing price premiums or discounts related to walkability in Xiamen, China, using the cumulative opportunity method. It concludes that walkability to schools, commerce, and sports and cultural centers positively impact housing prices, while walkability to hospitals negatively impacts housing prices.
