Built Environment and Health

This report reviews the current state of public health and planning and advocates for the adoption of health measures into the LEED-ND rating system. It is organized by health outcome, covering respiratory and cardiovascular health, fatal and non-fatal injuries, physical fitness, social capital, and mental health. It also includes a chapter on special populations and summarizes the findings in Chapter 8.
