Green Building

This briefing paper addresses how green building regulation can better promote energy efficiency and expand the scale of retrofits. It finds that current green building regulations vary inconsistently across the country, innovative funding approaches can achieve greater scale, the coordination of data must be public and private collaboration, and energy efficiency can increase occupancy rates and tenant retention.
