Green Building

This article examines how regulatory, economic, and climate variables affect the adoption of municipal green building policies. It concludes that cities with green building policies tend to have lower greenhouse gas emissions per capita, are better educated, and have more restrictive land use regulations. The article also provides several recommendations for municipalities to support green building.
