Green Building

This case study analyzes three commercial projects according to common green building certification systems to evaluate how such systems address sustainable water management practices at the community level. It examines the projects’ water management strategies, expected results versus actual operations, environmental impacts on the community, strengths and weaknesses to using such certification systems, and local policy barriers. The case study concludes with several recommendations for improving green building certification systems based on results from the three highlighted projects.
