Green Building

This guide outlines the ten performance-based best practices of the Core Green Building Certification (CORE). These best practices include: ecology of place, human-scaled living, responsible water use, energy and carbon reduction, healthy interior environment, responsible materials, universal access, inclusion, beauty and biophilia, and education and inspiration. It identifies six geographies in which these practices can be applied: natural habitat preserve, rural, village or campus, general urban, urban center, and urban core. The guide references relevant research, tools, and services.
