Green Building

This functional plan discusses the challenges and successes of green building and presents several goals and targets. It presents goals to develop green building standards for major redevelopment and improve the condition of existing commercial and residential buildings. It includes strategies to update green building standards for industrial buildings, adopt a green building code for commercial buildings, and educating home buyers and tenants about the benefits of green building. The functional plan also outlines the Menomonee Valley Sustainable Design Guidelines.
