Social Equity

This article tracks a group of New Orleans residents that are reclaiming a space stripped from their community decades ago. Rather than tear down a highway that destroyed a historic African American economic corridor, residents elected to reimagine the space below, in part due to fears of gentrification and displacement from new development.
