Social Equity

This article exposes the absence of social equity metrics for evaluating emissions mitigation projects. It looks at a case study from Nicaragua to show the direct and indirect impacts of climate change and emissions reduction strategies on poor communities through various poverty metrics. Table 3 lists and defines these metrics.
