This article details how gentrification of LGBT neighborhoods leads to the dispersal of the LGBT community, and their neighborhood institutions, in the Atlanta area. It lists ways planners have been actively involved in this process, through zoning changes and by systematically excluding LGBT people from planning documents or processes.
