Historic Preservation

This briefing paper highlights the role that cultural heritage preservation can have in making urban areas more sustainable in an international context. It is a response to the 2015 Millennium Development Goals and Target 11.4 in the U.N.’s sustainable development goals. The paper lists contemporary issues in urban heritage conservation and responds to misconceptions.
