Historic Preservation

This article questions whether historic district zoning has an impact on property values. Looking at examples from Denver, Colorado and Virginia, it shows that property values tend to appreciate in historic districts when compared to other areas of the city. It concludes that historic preservation and economic development can be pursued together.
