This blog series commemorates the 50-year anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act by looking closely at Section 106 and Section 110. Section 106 requires that federal officials study the impact that projects will have on surrounding historic properties and Section 110 requires federal agencies to develop historic preservation plans for properties in their control.
