Green Stormwater Infrastructure

This article proposes a land-use suitability strategy for using vacant non-urbanized areas (NUAs) as green infrastructure. It discusses the assessment of the vacant land’s ecosystem services and hydrological impact at a regional level. The article applies this five-phase strategy to the Catania metropolitan area in Italy as a case study.
