Green Stormwater Infrastructure

This article examines the use of green infrastructure and low-impact development (LID) retrofits in suburban neighborhoods as a hazard mitigation strategy. It assesses the impact of these retrofits for flood protection in Sugar Land, Texas as a case study. The article focuses on the impact of six tactics on the site’s water retention capacity.
