Green Stormwater Infrastructure

This article encourages the municipal assessment of site-level stormwater burden, or Individual Parcel Assessments (IPAs), to support on-site water management. It explores different stormwater program funding options, the German IPA model, and three potential applications for IPAs in the United States. The article recommends the use of IPAs to issue public incentives, support watershed planning, and increase public awareness about land use choices and regional environmental issues.
