This case study discusses the barriers and opportunities of low-impact development (LID) in three communities in Oregon. It reviews findings from needs-assessment workshops with local decision makers and residents and presents suggestions to address resource conservation and rapid population growth with LID. The case study proposes the use of a logic model approach to plan and evaluate LID assistance to communities in Oregon.
