Green Stormwater Infrastructure

The city’s comprehensive plan promotes the use of low-impact development (LID) and green infrastructure to improve stormwater management. It proposes implementing incentive programs and standards to promote green infrastructure and low-impact development (LID) and conducting public education and outreach (GS-D4). The comprehensive plan also encourages establishing a network of green streets (LU-D2) and preserving urban trees (GS-D1) to enhance community identity and manage stormwater.
