Hazard Mitigation

This article uses a “social network analysis (SNA)” to assess planner’s stakeholder networks for hazard mitigation planning. It examines the social networks utilized for hazard mitigation planning in New Hanover and Onslow counties in North Carolina as case studies. The article concludes by discussing the differences between these counties and the planning implications for leveraging social networks.
