Hazard Mitigation

These model ordinances provide templates to help cities and counties draft floodplain regulations that are coordinated with the International Codes (I-Codes). Version 1 is for communities that adopt Chapter 1 of the I-Codes and International Building Code (IBC) Appendix G. Version 2 is for communities that adopt Chapter 1 of the I-Codes, but not IBC Appendix G. Version 3 is for communities that have not adopted Chapter 1 of the I-Codes or IBC Appendix G.
